Snowfall in the Sahara Desert

Sahara the ICE wonderland?
The News which is been trending these days is of Sahara desert.
Sahara  desert is situated in North Africa
The Sahara is the largest hot desert and the third largest desert in the world after Antarctica and the Arctic.
Whenever we think of desert then we have thoughts in mind of very hot climate , sand, not easy to survive, and most important no water.
BUT
Something happened at Sahara deserts which we is not familiar.  Sahara desert had a snowfall
At  Ain Sefra, a desert town in Algeria, also known as the ‘Gateway to the Sahara’ 
 where the Atla mountains meet the Sahara Desert – received snowfall.
Yes its true here is image







Its look like someone’s  great art but it’s the image taken by people
And picture of snow in desert went viral so this is not the first time when
Sahara had snowfall last year too it had snowfall
Report says that way back before the  last year .In February 1979.
Sahara had good snowfall
